Amulet is a multi-functional IPTV receiver with MPEG-4 (AVC/H.264) HD and whole-home DVR capabilities that integrates easily with popular home-networking and broadband services. The integrated Ethernet connection can be augmented by either a HomePNA, 802.11, MoCA or HomePlug adapter. With Amulet, subscribers can access and manage a variety of traditional broadband services, as well as extend the capabilities of their existing IP home networks for more content delivery choices.

Amulet also supports an external SATA hard disk drive attachment for digital video recorder (DVR) applications. With its expandable DVR options, Amulet offers service providers the flexibility to deploy whole-home DVR while offering subscribers more storage options.

The advanced MPEG-4 (AVC/H.264) support ensures delivery of high-performance and high-quality video encoding and decoding. It decodes popular video formats including MPEG-4 (AVC/H.264), MPEG-2, VC-1 and DivX, as well as advanced audio format decodes and transcoding capability.

The dual-core MIPS32 CPU and advanced 2-D graphics acceleration engine provide for a responsive and compelling user experience. It supports popular third-party middleware and digital rights management (DRM) solutions.
